What The Flocke?

Where is your favorite place you’ve traveled?

Rachel: Croatia! I am a sucker for a view with both mountains and the ocean.
Tyler: Greece because I love secret beach spots and it is the perfect place for photography!

Do you think it is too late to be an influencer?

Rachel: Absolutely not, as long as you can bring something unique to the table that others aren’t doing. I think copying and settling with the ways of the industry are what stunt growth. Be different!
Tyler: Just the opposite, you just need to find your niche and work your a** off. Nothing great comes easily.

What motivates you to get out of bed?

Rachel: The desire to create! Whether it is helping someone build a brand, working on my personal projects or just a day full of shooting, I love bringing new things to life.
Tyler: Well…besides coffee, the desire to make a difference in the world and, of course, my co-founder and girl boss, Rachel.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Rachel: Pear Pasta from Quattro Leoni in Florence, Italy.
Tyler: Chicken Special at the Nomad Hotel in NYC.

Where do you go when you’re looking to find inspiration?

Rachel: Get outside! It sounds cheesy, but the California environment inspires everything from my color palette to my everyday wardrobe.
Tyler: Pinterest! It is the perfect spot to look at different designs, photography or even recipes –  it gets my creativity flowing!

How do you know it’s time to take your side hustle full time?

Rachel: When you have you a safety net financially and you’re ready to sacrifice only working 8 hours a day.
Tyler: When you are ready to put in the work. I like to think there is no perfect time, just the perfect mindset.
